The town of Hay-on-Wye from the north

The trust was formed for the benefit of the community of Hay-on-Wye, including those living within a ten mile radius of the Town Clock.

It provides financial assistance to persons wishing to undertake projects at home or abroad that will either advance their education or extend their professional expertise through voluntary work.

Work projects or study, may be undertaken independently or as a member of an approved group.

Welcome to our website -

We hope you find it interesting and useful. The NW Trust is a grant making charity.

Here you can find out if you are eligible for a grant and if you qualify you can begin the application process.

Fund-raising is inevitably a vital aspect of the Trust's work and recognition must be given to all those who help to organise events and support them.

There have been many applications during the last two years and as always Trustees have been impressed by the diversity of projects undertaken.

Support has been given to some of the young people taking part in School educational visits and their travels have taken them across the globe - France Poland Uganda and Australia. From reports received valuable experience has been gained and many friendships made.
